Circus Train Wreck Canaan Station

This was the wreck of the Barnum circus train around 1931 at Canaan Station. There were men killed in the train wreck and apparently a tiger and a large snake escaped, there are rumors of folks seeing big snakes to this day around the Saint Paul area. My mother and her brother went to see this wreck and filled their pockes with shelled peanuts scattered everywhere.
