To begin with Congres Mondial is Acadian World Congress.It is an international or world wide Celebration meant for all the Acadians from all over the world to gather, to meet other Acadians who descend from their same ancestors. If you take for instance Daniel LeBlanc who was the first LeBlanc in Acadie, and all his descendants were to get together, can you imagine the people? This congres mondial is a real big party, lots of fun,lots of chances of making new friends, meeting old ones, dancing, laughing, or just having a great old time. I am hoping that a lot of you will try and attend .It is going to be held in Northern New Brunswick.Many of your Acadian ancestors were exiled into other parts of the world,many of your Acadian ancestors left their Acadie to find work in other countries,now is the time for you to return to your Acadian Roots .

Here is a poem I composed:

Once there was an Acadian guy,
Who thought and thought
And wondered why
Why did the Acadians have to go
And leave their homes that they loved so?
To other lands across the seas
But they'll return
Just wait and see
Now he knows in two thousand nine
The Acadians return to their homeland one more time.
